Industry solution

A dispatch point and vehicles operating as one city-wide network.

For taxi associations and company fleets, system reliability depends on mobile installations, antennas, base-station location, urban coverage, radio groups and, where required, repeater infrastructure. Every vehicle is part of the same RF system.

Taxi and vehicle fleets
Key pointDispatch point

The base/dispatch point, working groups and call procedures organise vehicles without overloading a single channel.

Key pointMobile radios

The vehicle radio, power supply, microphone, antenna cable and roof antenna are checked as one functional installation.

Key pointUrban coverage

Terrain, buildings and distance from the repeater determine critical zones; practical range is assessed across the actual service area.

Key pointGroups and programming

Channels, zones, scan lists and priorities are aligned with dispatch procedures, shifts and the number of vehicles in the network.

A reliable taxi radio system starts beyond the radio itself.

In a vehicle, installation quality directly affects range and link stability: power, antenna position, coaxial cable quality, connectors and mounting are all critical. At the dispatch point, the antenna, feeder and base-equipment location are equally important.

An urban RF environment is variable: multi-storey buildings, terrain, underpasses and different operating zones create both strong-signal areas and critical points. The system is therefore evaluated across the real service area, not against a catalogue maximum-range figure.

Communication groups follow responsibilities, not a list of devices.

A radio plan is not based solely on the number of radios. Roles, responsibilities and critical messages determine how many groups are needed, who monitors multiple groups and where direct escalation is important.

Dispatch centre

Base radio point, microphone, power supply and a clear operating procedure.

Vehicles

Mobile radios, RF installation and an antenna matched to the vehicle.

Groups

Grouping by area, function or communication priority.

Coverage

Verification of urban zones and locations where communication loss occurs.

Repeater

Infrastructure for cases where direct radio communication is insufficient.

Maintenance

Programming records, antennas, connectors and a functional test of the vehicle installation.

Terminals are the endpoints of the network.

The device, programming configuration, RF layer and functional test form one integrated professional radio system.

critical zones and functional verification

What we verify before the team takes over the system.

Critical locations, antennas, cables, repeater requirements and the expected operating method.

Channels, groups, zones, scan lists, calls and functions according to the equipment and operating procedure.

Accessories for noisy or discreet operation, batteries, chargers and backup logistics.

Verification in the actual working zones and any required adjustments before the project or shift begins.

A new taxi radio network or an upgrade of the existing system?

Send the number of vehicles, operating area, details of existing infrastructure and the dispatch-point location.

From requirements to operation

Four checkpoints before system handover.

The approach is consistent across industries: requirement, RF conditions, configuration and verification under real operating conditions.

Roles and zones

Who must be able to hear whom, and where communication must be available.

RF conditions

Facility, terrain, obstacles, antennas and infrastructure requirements.

Configuration

Channels, groups, accessories, batteries, charging and backup logistics.

Test

Functional verification before operational use begins.
